The Grace Lutheran Church Quilters displayed on Sunday some of the quilts they made throughout the year. They will be distributed within the next few weeks to many organizations. They get together on Monday afternoons to put these beauties together. Members left to right… Pat Johnson, Garnet Petersen, Annette Hedge, Donna Lynn, Elaine Hovland and Susan Johnson.
Rally Day Sunday, September 10th, the kids enjoyed "bouncing" around! A big thank you Roger Rudebusch for lending the house to Grace.

Pipestone served at The Banquet in Sioux Falls, SD Wednesday, April 26th. The kids have served annually for many years. Members from Grace include, Betze, Halle, Angie and Landon.

On October 26, 2022, 20 members of Grace Lutheran and First Lutheran, Pipestone served the evening meal at The Banquet (west location) in Sioux Falls, SD. We traveled by school bus leaving from Pipestone at 4pm and returning at 9pm. Preparations started at 5 with serving from 6-7:30 and cleanup afterwards. The Grace Quilters donated 14 quilts which were handed out to adults and children. All attendees were very thankful for the food, our service and conversations, and the beautiful quilts. For church members, it was a special opportunity to serve and care for others.

Quilting Group talents are recognized as we bless the quilts which they have made for distribution to various organizations throughout the area. Many thanks to all those who worked so hard in producing such beautiful quilts for God’s children.
Congratulations to Calvin Curtis, Cameron Elroy and Charli Jalle Peterson as they were welcomed into our family through the Sacrament of Baptism July 31, 2022. Their parents are Evan and Kristi Peterson and they were born on July 21, 2021 in Sioux Falls, SD. On Sunday, May 22nd, 2022, Barrett Berkenpas, son of Barry & Tanya Berkenpas received the sacrament of affirmation and was confirmed by Pastor Dave Danner during church. A celebration was held afterwards in the fellowship hall. Congratulations Barrett and welcome as a full member at Grace.
On May 8,2022 Grace honored our high school graduates during and after church during fellowship. Austin Johnson, son of Jerid & Mindy Johnson; Brayden Weets, son of Mike & Crystal Weets; & Brock Hefti, son of Ken & Kim Hefti. They each received a quilt made by the Grace Quilters Group along with many well wishes. Congratulations! We also received new members, Randy, Jodi and Carter Lichtsinn, welcome!
